Various planets through the galaxy can now produce their own wares, you can view the production via the local trading station.
The planet’s production is connected to the local trading station, resources will be pulled from the station and the resulting products will be deposited there. So you use the trading station to trade the wares to the planets.
Planets have a prosperity and population level, these determine how much and how quick the production is, higher levels of prosperity will increase the production, as well as unlock additional wares.
Raw Materials Production
The planets will extract raw materials, these don’t require any resources to be produces, they just need time to be extracted, different planets will produce different amounts of raw materials.
Luxury Item Production
As well as producing raw materials, planets will also produce a number of luxury items, these items can be traded to other planets. Unlike raw materials, luxury items do require a number of resources to be produced, these need to be in the trading station to allow production to continue. Additional luxury items will be unlocked when increase prosperity level.
Luxury Item Consumtion
The planets will consume a number of luxury wares over time, these need to be in the local trading station. When consuming luxury items, the planets prosperity will increase, however if there are not enough available, their prosperity level will decrease.
Prosperity Level
The planets have a prosperity level displayed by the level bar, this is usually in a range between 1 and 10. Some planets may have a low maximum, also some planets may start at higher levels than others.
The Progress Bar shows the progress made to the next prosperity level. As the planet consumes luxury items, the progress will increase, but if there are not enough luxury items available at the trading station when it tries to consume them, the progress will decrease.
The Prosperity level effects the speed of production, so higher prosperity will produce alot more wares, but will also consume alot more luxury items to maintain.
Prosperity Missions
From time to time, planets may offer missions to aid in their prosperity, these missions usually involve large quantities of wares, like food, to allow the planet to grow. When available, you can take on the mission to be rewarded, and to increase the prosperity level.
